Executive Finance Leadership Role

A well-established professional services firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence is seeking a strategic financial leader to join its executive team. This search is for an individual who will lead all financial functions and help guide the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and performance.

Position Summary

The selected executive will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, reporting, and operational finance. The role involves close collaboration with firm leadership and governance committees to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial health.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the development and communication of regular financial reporting.

  • Managing the month-end close process and reviewing procedures for efficiency.

  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

  • Providing insight and analysis to leadership on profitability, performance, and business trends.

  • Supporting executive and operational planning with strategic financial input.

  • Enhancing and maintaining finance and accounting systems, reporting tools, and internal controls.

  • Leading cash flow planning and banking relationships.

  • Managing finance, accounting, and payroll teams, including hiring, development, and performance oversight.

  • Supporting compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Serving as a key liaison for external audits and advisors.

Ideal Background:

  • CPA designation required.

  • 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated success implementing financial systems and leading teams through organizational change.

  • Familiarity with leading financial platforms and business intelligence tools is preferred.
