Daycare Teacher Full and Part Time available Location Kannapolis, NC :

We Luv Um is dedicated to providing quality child care, interactive learning and memorable experiences. We are looking for a caring, fun-loving and highly motivated teacher to inspire and be part of a great team. No Experience Needed. We are a religious sponsored center, GS110-106. We are open Monday thru Friday from 6:30am to 5:30 pm so no nights or weekends required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned classroom
• Communicate with families
• Monitor daily to ensure compliance is being maintained with all NC Child Care Requirements
• Make request for supplies and materials to director
• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate lesson plans in accordance with individual child's ability and interest
• Maintain classroom to DCD standards and as sanitation standards
• Maintain appropriate staff/child ratio and supervision at all times
• Rotate and replenish material and equipment as needed
• Discipline children in accordance with NC Child Care Requirements
• Maintain daily attendance
• Administer and enforce policies in parent handbook

Requirements:

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or its equivalent
• NC Early Childhood Credentials a plus but not required
• BSAC, SIDS not required but must obtain within 90 days of hire
• CPR and First Aid Certified are a plus must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with staff, parents and children
• Must be able to stand, bend stoop, squat, sit in the floor and lift at least 30 lbs., in order to engage in physical activities with the children
