Position summary
Radionetics Oncology is seeking a strategic and hands-on Executive Director/Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead the execution and delivery of our clinical programs. This role will lead the Clinical Operations function and will drive the operational strategy and execution of all clinical trials, with an emphasis on early-stage clinical development and global site management. The ideal candidate brings deep clinical operations expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment.

Essential job functions and duties
  • Lead the development and execution of global clinical operations strategy across Radionetics' oncology clinical programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Lead a high-performing clinical operations team, providing strategic direction, coaching and performance management
  • Oversee trial planning, feasibility, vendor selection and management (e.g., CROs, central labs, imaging vendors), budgeting, and resource forecasting
  • Identify, recruit, qualify, manage, and maintain relations with clinical trial sites, including collaborating with Principal Investigators to ensure timely and high-quality execution of clinical studies
  • Ensure end-to-end operational delivery of clinical trials, including protocol development support, site selection, startup, enrollment, monitoring, safety oversight, data integrity, and close-out activities.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of Clinical Operations SOPs, systems, tools, and metrics to ensure operational efficiency and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA/EMA and other regulatory agency regulations, and internal quality standards
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development to support regulatory submissions, including INDs, CTAs, DSURs, IND annual reports and briefing documents
  • Provide strategic input into clinical study protocols and ensure operational feasibility.
  • Establish excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners
Minimum required qualifications
  • Advanced degree in life sciences/ healthcare (or clinically relevant degree) is required. PhD, PharmD, MD preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations with a proven track record in oncology; radiopharmaceutical experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of cross-functional areas relevant for executing clinical trials
  • Highly motivated and thrives working in a fast-paced innovative environment
  • Self-starter who can lead and manage function independently

  • The position is based in San Diego, CA; a portion of the job duties may be performed remotely.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required up to 25%.
Compensation & Benefits
Radionetics has a competitive total compensation package that includes bonus opportunity; equity; medical, dental, vision, life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO) annually; and generous paid holidays.

Pay Range: $260,000-$342,000
Radionetics evaluates a variety of factors in determining individual pay decisions, which may include relevant education, experience, and skills; internal equity; complexity and responsibility of the role; and market demand relative to the position. Geographic location may also be a consideration in evaluating salary when candidates work in states outside of California.
