In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members. Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests. Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep rooms clean according to established standards. Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs. Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request. Provide friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. Requires ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions. Requires knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies. Requires ability to walk and stand throughout the shift, push, vacuum, reach, stretch, bend, and occasionally lift 25-35 pounds. Reports to Executive Housekeeper / Assistant General Manager. Drury Hotels are open 7 days a week; working weekends may be required. No previous cleaning experience required. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
