We care about you returning home in the same condition you arrived to work, as no amount of money is worth risking your health or getting injured!You Owe It to Yourself to Experience why JCI keeps being voted the Best Place to Work!What will you do: As a member of Johnson Controls Data Center Service Team, you will provide our customers with the highest level of service to address facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related issues.Acting as a trusted advisor, you will offer solutions and outcomes during commissioning and aftermarket service, recommend and implement strategies to ensure efficient facility operations, identify upselling opportunities, and provide quotes to support your recommendations and solutions.We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement. Put your skills in air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large rooftop ducted units to support the expanding data center market to work!How will you do it: Perform routine maintenance on chiller systems to maintain optimal performance and energy efficiencyConduct preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, chillers, pumps, and other auxiliary equipmentDiagnose and repair malfunctions in chiller systems using knowledge of refrigeration principles and electrical schematicsResponsible for chiller/BAS (Building Automation System) integrationPerform start-up procedures, troubleshooting, and tear down/rebuild of chiller unitsMentor other technicians on various topics related to chiller maintenance and repairWhat we look for Must be a member or willing to join a local Union. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with air-cooled and/or water-cooled chillers or large rooftop ducted units, along with strong HVAC and mechanical troubleshooting skills.You will work with local market technicians and when necessary, provide on the job training.Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills. Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job. Commitment to SafetyUniversal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, good driving record and valid driver's license. Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:Journeyman or equivalent work/military experienceSolid knowledge of HVAC systems or water chillersUniversal EPA refrigerants license
