Due to critical service need of the communities we serve, we are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus.* We are eager to continue to provide quality and compassionate care in our service areas and need you to make this happen!
*This candidate will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, Day shift. 30 hours weekly. Some Saturdays will be required.
Responsibilities are for the operation of the Medication Clinic and providing nursing coverage to accommodate the region's practitioner schedules. Functions as a Case Manager for consumers served by the medication clinic. Will assist with pre-visit appointments prior to connecting with doctor. Oversight of up to 10 appointments daily. Assisting with residential nurse/residential clients as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
* Plan, organize and coordinate medication clinic
* Prepares for minimal to frequent schedule changes and travels to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training
* Review medication education sheets with client
* Function as case manager for consumers needing medication refills
* Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records
* Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed
* Work to help complete prior authorizations
* Maintain list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
* Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process
* Broad knowledge and experience with computers
* High School/GED degree required
* Associate/Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: GPN, LPN, GN or RN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
