Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Owner (Level 7) with strong expertise in Payments within the Banking and Finance domain. The successful candidate will lead the development and management of payment products, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of innovative, compliant, and customer-centric payment solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary owner for payment-related products and features, defining product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business goals.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring delivery of high-value features.
• Collaborate with development teams, UX/UI designers, compliance, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and launch payment solutions.
• Ensure product compliance with relevant banking regulations, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release planning.
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to enhance product features and competitiveness.
• Lead cross-functional communication, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Track and report on KPIs, performance metrics, and user feedback to inform ongoing product improvements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 6+ years) as a Product Owner, similar role in the Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, workflows, protocols (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, FPS), and payment processing compliance.
• Strong domain knowledge of banking and finance regulations related to payments (PSD2, PCI DSS, AML, KYC, etc.).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into detailed technical requirements.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.

• Preferred Skills:
• Certification such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or CBAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital banking, fintech innovations, APIs, and integration architectures.
