ESTIMATED PAY RANGE $100,000 - $125,000 annually JOB SUMMARY As a Engineering Project Manager for New Product Development in Burnsville, MN, you will get to: use your solid understanding of DFM/DFA principles and product validation, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with performance standards and safety regulations; have extensive opportunities to lead cross-functional engineering teams through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch; garner an understanding of CAD tools and PLM systems (e.g., Creo, Windchill) for collaboration with design, prototyping, and production teams; showcase your expertise in managing technical timelines, budget constraints, and risk mitigation; foster a culture of continuous design optimization and customer-centric development; utilize your Agile and Stage-Gate methodologies, aligning iterative engineering development with milestone-based stakeholder reporting; translate technical details into strategic updates for internal leadership and external stakeholders, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science degree in a related field required; Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline strongly preferred Minimum of 8 years managing new product development projects PMP Certification; a Master's Degree in Project Management or additional experience may be considered in lieu of a PMP Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards, such as ISO, FDA, or industry-specific guidelines relevant to engineered products Ability to travel as needed (less than 10% expected) Advanced skill set in time management and task prioritization Passion for managing teams and driving results Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please consider joining Applied's team of talented employees!
