Summary The Quality Manager oversees all aspects of quality assurance and control within an EV manufacturing facility. This role ensures that battery systems meet rigorous internal and external standards, including OEM specifications and regulatory compliance. The manager leads cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What We Expect From You - Maintain quality control systems tailored to EV production.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process deviations.
- Manage internal audits, supplier quality assessments, and compliance with ISO/IATF standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate quality into design and manufacturing.
- Oversee incoming material inspections, in-process checks, and final product validation.
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as defect rates, warranty claims, and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor quality technicians and engineers on EV-specific quality protocols
- Serve as primary liaison for regulatory bodies regarding quality matters.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
Qualifications Needed For Success - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred.
- Certifications such as CQE, CMQ/OE, or Six Sigma Black Belt are a plus
- 5+ years in quality leadership within automotive or EV manufacturing.
- Knowledge of the IATF16949, ISO-14001 and ISO-45001 Quality standards
- Lean manufacturing knowledge & experience required.
- Proactive, dynamic attitude, problem solving, communication skills and teamwork.

- Primary Language: English (+ Spanish, a plus)
- Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including but not limited to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards. Additionally you must adhere strictly to established protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for themselves and their colleagues.
