Statewide Installations is seeking a full time mechanically inclined professional ready to work alongside and learn from an experienced team. Statewide has proudly been the leader in automotive equipment installation, maintenance, and repair for over 55 years, establishing us as the premier provider across the Tri-State area.

Position Overview

We seek a curious, analytical, and collaborative technician driven to learn and innovate our industry-leading service. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, applying your problem-solving skills to mechanical systems and job site logistics. Unlike traditional contractors, Statewide Installations Inc. offers over five decades of specialized mastery, a locally-owned legacy, and comprehensive training, ensuring our technicians are at the forefront. Key responsibilities include:

• Install various automotive equipment, including vehicle lifts, compressed air systems, and lubrication systems.
• Diagnose and effectively repair equipment malfunctions and control system issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Working safely at heights and traveling daily to customer sites across the Tri-State area.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and plumbing principles
• Proficiency and comfort in using a variety of hand and power tools..
• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (essential requirement).
• Reliable personal transportation for commuting to and from work.
• Flexible availability to accommodate a work schedule primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements for Saturdays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Possession of a CDL A license, or prior experience operating backhoes or jackhammers.

Reporting Location: West Babylon, NY (with daily travel in company vehicles to customer sites across Long Island, NYC, New Jersey, and Connecticut)
