Sr. Commercial Real Estate Lender | Delaware Valley

About the Role:

We’re partnered with a well-capitalized community bank that’s seeking an experienced Sr. Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lender to build, grow, and manage business relationships across the Delaware Valley. This individual will be responsible for driving portfolio growth and profitability by delivering a full suite of banking solutions—including term financing, construction and bridge loans, as well as deposit and cash management services.

What You’ll Do:

• Source and structure new commercial real estate loans
• Build long-term, profitable relationships with business clients throughout Southeastern PA, Delaware, and adjacent counties in NJ and MD
• Cross-sell deposit and cash management solutions to meet the full range of client needs
• Represent the bank in the market through community involvement and networking, supporting CRA efforts
• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans with a focus on asset quality and risk management
• Lead due diligence, structure loan terms, and coordinate with credit and legal through closing
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy while aligning with the bank’s broader growth and risk strategy

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial real estate lending, preferably in a community or regional bank setting
• Proven ability to originate, structure, and close CRE transactions
• Knowledge of financial analysis, credit underwriting, and commercial loan documentation
• Strong business development skills and existing network in the Delaware Valley
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and think strategically

Additional Considerations:

• Familiarity with CRA-related business development
• Experience with deposit generation and cash management sales
• Book of business or deep market ties is a significant plus
