Rate: $65-68/hr on W2

Job Description:
The McShane Firm is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with strong Workday expertise to drive key enterprise Workday initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead full project lifecycles, collaborate with functional and technical teams, and act as a key liaison with stakeholders and vendors. This role will focus on delivering high-impact results across modules like HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Integrations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead Workday projects across HCM, Finance, Payroll, or other modules
• Create and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
• Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors
• Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues
• Report progress, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership
• Coordinate UAT, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle

Required Skills:

• 5 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
• 2+ years of recent experience with Workday projects
• Hands-on experience managing Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, or Integrations
• Strong understanding of Workday architecture and workflows
• Successful track record in end-to-end Workday implementations
• Familiar with project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder, and change management skills
• PMP, CSM, or Workday certifications preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in law firms or professional services environments
• Background in data migration, system testing, or Workday integrations
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants
